Student Counsellor

GAMMA Marine is seeking an experienced Student Counsellor to spearhead student enrolment operations and drive admission conversions. This role involves managing a high-performing admissions team and ensuring exceptional guidance for prospective students.

🎯 About the Role

This position focuses on leading student enrolment operations, aiming to maximize lead-to-admission conversion rates. You will be instrumental in managing the admissions team and ensuring the achievement of enrolment targets while maintaining ethical counselling practices.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📞 Handle prospective student inquiries via multiple channels, providing accurate course information.
• 🎯 Manage the full enquiry-to-enrolment process, converting leads to admissions.
• 📈 Develop and implement admission strategies to achieve organizational growth.
• 👨‍🏫 Lead, mentor, and manage the admissions team to meet targets.
• ✅ Oversee the student onboarding process, including documentation and fee collection.
• 📊 Maintain CRM records and prepare performance reports.
• 🤝 Collaborate with marketing, academic, and accounts teams.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or related field.
• 💼 8–10 years of experience in admissions management, student counselling, or operations.
• 🗣️ Strong communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
• 🏫 Prior experience in the education/training sector is highly preferred.
• 💻 Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
