🎯 About the Role
You will work alongside experienced analysts, quants, and data engineers to extract, clean, and analyze data. This internship focuses on building the tools and insights that trading teams depend on, with opportunities to work closely with trading desks.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📊 Extract and clean data from various sources.
- 💻 Write Python/SQL to build necessary pipelines and tools.
- 🤖 Apply LLMs and AI tools to automate manual tasks.
- 📈 Prepare charts, dashboards, and summaries for the desk.
- 🚢 Track vessel movements, cargo flows, and supply/demand indicators.
- 🔍 Investigate and flag data-quality issues.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 📚 Pursuing a degree in a STEM, quantitative, analytical, or business field.
- 🐍 Ability to code in Python and/or SQL.
- 🧠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 💡 Ability to deliver a working result from a business requirement.
- 📈 Interest in commodities, shipping, or data-driven analytics.
