Software QA Intern – Manual & Mobile Automation Testing

🎯 About the Role

This role is for a detail-oriented intern passionate about QA, focusing on manual testing fundamentals and mobile automation to join the Quality Assurance team. You will gain experience in testing life-saving health tech solutions and collaborate on innovation-driven projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ✍️ Design, write, and execute manual test cases (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory) for web and mobile apps.
• 🤖 Build and maintain automated test scripts using Java + Selenium WebDriver (web) and Appium (Android mobile).
• 🚀 Perform API testing with Postman — validating payloads, status codes, and correctness.
• 💾 Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data integrity.
• 🐞 Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.
• 🤝 Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members during sprints and releases.
• 📄 Maintain structured test documentation (plans, cases, traceability).
• 🔬 Participate in root-cause analysis of production issues and improve QA processes.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• ☕ Strong programming fundamentals in Java.
• 🌐 Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• 📱 Working knowledge of Appium for Android/iOS automation.
• 🗄️ Practical experience with SQL for data validation.
• 💻 API testing experience using Postman.
• ✅ Solid understanding of QA fundamentals (STLC, defect lifecycle, test case design).
• 🗣️ Good communication skills and ability to work in agile/scrum environments.
• 🧪 Experience with TestNG framework (good to have).
• ⚙️ Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) (good to have).

💰 Stipend: 20k/month
