🎯 About the Role
This role provides an opportunity to gain essential practical experience in a pharmacy setting, working alongside a licensed pharmacist. You will be involved in various aspects of pharmaceutical services, contributing to patient care.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 💊 Assist in manufacturing, dispensing, and controlling drugs and pharmaceuticals.
- 🔂 Substitute for absent pharmacy personnel as needed.
- ⚖️ Adhere to Federal and State laws and regulations for pharmaceutical services.
- 🧠 Apply knowledge of pharmacology, compounding, and drug management.
- 🗣️ Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
- 🚗 Willing and capable of preparing chemotherapy drugs using approved procedures.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy; or BS in Pharmacy with application for CA pharmacist license.
- 📝 Possess a California Intern Pharmacist License.
- 📚 Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and modern pharmacology.
- 🎯 Ability to extract and relate patient information to medical management plans.
- 😊 Demonstrated caring attitude towards patients and customers.
- ⌨️ Ability to type 30 WPM or 6000 KPH, or type prescription labels.
- 🤝 Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
💰 Compensation: $40.53 - $42.64 / hour
