Intern – Internal Control (SEA)

Support a global luxury brand's Internal Control team in Southeast Asia to strengthen processes, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

🎯 About the Role

This internship focuses on supporting internal control operations, including testing, documentation, and exception reporting. You will also assist with audits and provide ad-hoc support to the Regional Internal Control Manager, liaising with various market teams.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📝 Assist in quarterly ERICA testing, including evidence gathering and follow-up.
• 📑 Support the update and standardization of internal policies and procedures.
• 🔍 Participate in reviews of operational processes for simplification and automation opportunities.
• 📊 Support monthly exception report reviews across SEA markets.
• 🛡️ Provide support during internal and retail audits.
• 🤝 Liaise with local market teams and shared service centers.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 🗓️ Able to commit to a full-time internship from Dec 2026/Jan 2027 to Jun 2027.
• 🧠 Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and high integrity.
• 💼 Ability to handle confidential information.
• 💻 Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 🗣️ Good communication and organization skills.
