🎯 About the Role
This limited-term internship offers the chance to work on diverse water resources projects, assisting engineers with crucial design and analysis tasks. You'll contribute to projects involving concrete rehabilitation, pump station design, and more.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ✏️ Assist engineers with structural and civil engineering tasks for water resources projects.
- 📊 Prepare design calculations and cost estimates.
- 📦 Compile, organize, and analyze project data.
- 📄 Draft technical reports.
- 🏗️ Assist with the preparation of construction documents.
- 👀 Review shop drawings and respond to requests for information.
- 🚗 Accompany engineers on project site visits.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Completed at least two semesters (4 preferred) of coursework in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
- 💻 Experience with Microsoft Office software.
- 📐 Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D is a plus.
- 📈 Experience with structural design software (e.g., RISA, ENERCALC) is a plus.
- 🤝 Previous relevant internship experience is beneficial.
💰 Compensation: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly
⏳ Duration: May/June 2027 through August 2027
