Assist in the crucial administrative and compliance tasks within a trust legal department, ensuring the smooth operation of trust and company documentation.
๐ฏ About the Role
This internship offers a hands-on experience in managing legal documents related to trust setups, conducting essential KYC checks, and staying updated on relevant legal and tax regulations. You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities
- ๐๏ธ File and manage paperwork for trust legal documents, including new trust setups.
- ๐ Draft related onshore/offshore company and trust resolutions.
- โ Conduct KYC checks on trust-related parties.
- โ๏ธ Stay updated on laws and regulations related to trust and tax.
- ๐ Complete all other ad hoc assignments in a timely manner.
โ Requirements & Skills
- ๐ Minimum Diploma in accountancy, finance, business administration, or legal studies/law from a reputable institution.
- ๐๏ธ Availability to work a minimum of 2 days per week, preferably 5 days.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to speak and read Chinese is a plus.
- ๐ง Must work carefully and possess a sense of responsibility.
- ๐ค Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- ๐๏ธ Strong organization and administrative skills.
- ๐ฅ Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
