This internship involves supporting automation, controls, and digital manufacturing projects at the Bay Minette facility. You will gain practical experience with industrial automation systems and process improvement.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 💡 Support automation, controls, and process improvement projects.
- 🔧 Assist with troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.
- 📊 Analyze production and process data for improvement opportunities.
- 👥 Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
- 📈 Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- 📝 Document project work and present findings.
- ⛑️ Promote a strong safety culture.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 📅 Junior, Senior, or recent graduate standing.
- 🧠 Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- ✅ Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- 💡 Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, robotics, or data analytics.
- ⚙️ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles.
- 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
