As a teacher, you will instruct children in age-appropriate activities designed to promote development for primary school readiness. You will create a positive, fun, and supportive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 👋 Greet parents and children at drop off/pick up.
• 🛡️ Keep children's safety a priority in the classroom and on the playground.
• 🍎 Plan and carry out educational curriculum/lesson plans.
• 🎨 Teach basic skills and instruct children in practices of personal cleanliness and self-care.
• 🧸 Attend to children’s basic needs.
• ⚖️ Establish and reinforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
• 📚 Read books to entire classes or to small groups.
• 🎲 Provide materials and resources for children to explore and use.
• 🤸 Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development.
• 🍽️ Serve meals and refreshments to children.
• 🧹 Responsible for the cleanliness of the classroom and classroom laundry.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🏫 Knowledgeable about the operation of a learning center is helpful.
• 🧒 Childcare experience is preferred, but not required.
• 🤝 Must be able to effectively communicate with children, parents, and peers.
• 👮 Candidate will need to be able to enforce all administrative policies and rules.
• 🧑‍🏫 Must be able to supervise, evaluate, and plan age-appropriate activities.
• 📈 Must be able to demonstrate a solid work history and an interest in the industry.
• 🌟 Possess excellent customer service/people skills.
• 💪 Must be able to stand for up to entire shift. Performs bending, lifting, and reaching.
• 🏋️ Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs.
