Finance/Corporate Planning Intern

Support financial reporting and analysis within the Finance/Corporate Planning Department, gaining experience in budgeting, forecasting, and competitive analysis.

🎯 About the Role

This internship involves supporting various functions within the Finance/Corporate Planning Department with financial reporting and analysis. You will work on standard monthly reporting, assist with financial close and forecasting, and conduct ad-hoc analysis.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📊 Consolidate, summarize, and analyze corporate budget vs. actual spend reports.
• 📈 Prepare price/volume/mix report and analysis for monthly governance decks.
• 🔄 Assist in financial close and forecasting consolidation for the US and Canada.
• 📥 Load and verify actual and forecasted data for newly acquired companies.
• 📄 Consolidate and prepare presentation decks for flash forecast reporting.
• 🔍 Perform ad-hoc analysis for various finance requests.
• 🕵️ Analyze and maintain analysis of key competitors.
• 🛠️ Work on projects to enhance the monthly close process.
• 🤖 Develop models using AI to streamline reporting and forecasting.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Finance, Accounting, MIS, or related field).
• ⭐ 3.0 GPA or higher.
• 💪 Strong financial, problem-solving, and interpersonal/communication skills.
• 💻 Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• 🚀 Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word & PowerPoint).
• 📊 Experience with AI, Oracle BI tools, and SAP preferred, but not required.
• 💰 General understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
• 🤔 Critical thinking skills.

💰 Compensation: $18.00 - $33.00

⏳ Duration: September/October 2026 to April 2027
