🎯 About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to begin a new career path as a Diesel Mechanic Technician. You will receive paid, on-the-job training to develop your skills working with heavy-duty vehicles.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🚚 Move heavy-duty vehicles into and out of yards, wash bays, and service shops.
• ⛽ Fuel various types of vehicles and maintain accurate fuel and DEF inventories.
• 🔧 Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units, checking tires, fluids, and lights.
• 🧹 Maintain the fuel island area and perform minor facility maintenance tasks.
• 📚 Attend and complete all required technician training program requirements and assessments.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ⚙️ Zero to one year of mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• 🔞 Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 🗣️ Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills.
• 🤝 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 💻 Competency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• 📜 Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire and pass a DOT physical.
