🎯 About the Role

This trainee position offers comprehensive paid training to become a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician. You'll gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools, working on heavy-duty vehicles in a safety-first environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🚗 Move heavy duty vehicles into and out of the yard, wash bay, or service shop.
• ⛽ Fuel diesel, natural gas, and hybrid vehicles properly while adhering to safety policies.
• 🛠️ Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, lights, and more.
• 🔧 Perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• 📚 Attend and complete all Technician Training Development Program requirements and assessments.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 🔧 Zero to one (1) year mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• 🔞 Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 🗣️ Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
• 🤝 Demonstrated customer service skills.
• 💻 Competency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
