π― About the Role
This internship involves contributing to the development, optimization, and maintenance of big data infrastructure, specifically focusing on OLAP and online storage engines. You will engage in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and collaborating with product teams to enhance features based on business requirements.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Participate in the development and optimization of OLAP and Big Data engines (e.g., Presto/Trino, ClickHouse).
- π§ Engage in system performance tuning and troubleshooting for stability and high availability.
- π Analyze user problems and collaborate on feature development based on business needs.
- βοΈ Contribute to running engines on Kubernetes and explore AI/LLM applications.
- βοΈ Write and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
β Requirements & Skills
- π Pursuing a bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- π» Proficient in Java, C++, Go, or Python with strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
- π Basic understanding of Big Data/OLAP components (HDFS, Presto/Trino, etc.) and SQL.
- π€ Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
- π Experience with OLAP technologies and data modeling is highly desirable.
