🎯 About the Role

This internship focuses on supporting Corporate Accounting's lease accounting transformation, with a primary emphasis on migrating lease data to a new software platform and centralizing lease accounting processes. You will gain hands-on experience in data integrity, system migration, testing, process documentation, and core lease accounting activities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🗂️ Prepare, cleanse, organize, and validate lease data for migration.
• ⚖️ Reconcile source data to lease agreements and accounting records; document differences.
• 🔍 Support data mapping and conversion activities, identifying inconsistencies.
• 🧪 Execute system and user acceptance test scenarios; document results.
• ✅ Validate migrated lease data and system calculations for accuracy.
• ✍️ Assist in developing process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• 🤝 Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📈 Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 🎓 Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 📖 Completion of introductory accounting coursework.
• 📊 Comfort working with structured data and large data sets; strong attention to detail.
• 💻 Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with data tools is a plus.
• 🧠 Ability to analyze discrepancies and follow issues through resolution.
• 🤝 Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
