π― About the Role
This internship focuses on ensuring the accuracy of financial data within Stripe's payment infrastructure, managing balances, and maintaining compliance. You will work on real financial data and contribute to impactful projects with the APAC Payments TechOps team.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Analyze financial data using queries and examining data quality.
- βοΈ Write code or build tooling to improve Stripe's payment operations.
- π¬ Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews and discussions.
- π€ Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and finance stakeholders.
- π§ Learn quickly by asking questions and effectively communicating work status.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in computer science, data science, finance, economics, information systems, or a related discipline.
- π» Some experience with programming or data analysis (SQL, Python, Ruby).
- π₯ Experience from previous internships or multi-person projects.
- π Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and work independently with a mentor.
- π‘ Interest in payments, fintech, or financial systems is preferred.
