π― About the Role
This internship involves investigating system problems, writing production code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve Stripe's payment operations. You will have a high degree of autonomy and be mentored by experienced professionals.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Investigate system problems by examining code, queries, logs, and data pipelines.
- βοΈ Write code that has a meaningful impact on Stripe's payment operations.
- π¬ Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews and design discussions.
- π€ Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
- π§ Learn quickly, ask great questions, and communicate work status clearly.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related discipline.
- π» Some experience with programming (Ruby, Go, Python) through side projects or coursework.
- π₯ Experience from previous internships or multi-person projects.
- π Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and work with mentors.
- π‘ Familiarity with SQL and working with data is preferred.
