🎯 About the Role
Subo is seeking a creatively driven Fashion Design Intern with a strong eye for fashion, trends, and styling. You will play a key role in research and design development, ensuring alignment with the brand's aesthetic while reinterpreting trends in innovative ways.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 👗 Assist in research and design development for upcoming collections.
- 💡 Stay updated with current fashion trends, emerging designers, and styling directions.
- 🎨 Curate fresh design concepts and statement pieces aligned with brand identity.
- 🖼️ Create mood boards, color stories, and collection references.
- ✏️ Develop unique silhouettes and design elements.
- 📐 Assist with sketching, technical drawings, and detailing.
- 🤝 Coordinate with vendors, karigars, and sampling units.
- 🚚 Assist during fittings, shoot styling, and production follow-ups.
- 📂 Help organize collection documentation and design files.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design.
- 🧵 Strong understanding of silhouettes, garment construction, fabrics, and detailing.
- ✨ Aesthetic sensibility aligned with western fashion.
- 🤔 Ability to research trends while bringing fresh and original ideas.
- 📊 Good understanding of branding and fashion positioning.
- 🖌️ Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop preferred.
- 🚀 Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
💰 Stipend: 5-10K per month
