Corporate Communications Intern

Contribute to Wayfair's brand protection and promotion efforts by supporting internal and external communications strategies.

🎯 About the Role

This 10-week summer internship program integrates you into the Corporate Communications team, providing hands-on experience in media monitoring, storytelling, media relations, and social content. You will work on real projects and contribute directly to team goals.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📰 Support daily monitoring of media coverage and industry news.
• 📊 Assist with external communications, including media list building and tracking.
• ✍️ Draft and edit content for external channels like AboutWayfair.com and social media.
• ✉️ Draft copy for Wayfair’s internal newsletter, The Stand-Up.
• 🎨 Create photo collages and assist with newsletter sections.
• 🤝 Collaborate with internal stakeholders on comms plans and digital signage.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a relevant program.
• 📅 Expected degree completion between December 2027 and May 2028.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0.
• ✅ Must be returning to the course of study after the internship.
• 📄 Writing portfolio linked in resume.

💰 Compensation: $25 per hour
