Data Science Co-Op

Develop innovative AI models to extract and organize text and image information from billions of historical and genealogical records.

🎯 About the Role

This Co-Op position involves building, training, and fine-tuning AI models that process historical documents to detect meaningful, personalized insights. You will work closely with engineering teams to train, optimize, and deploy models that promote product development, customer success, and content creation.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🤖 Implement and experiment with cutting-edge AI solutions for Document Understanding tasks.
• 📊 Analyze and optimize multi-modal models in zero-shot and few-shot learning scenarios.
• ☁️ Collaborate with ML Ops and Data Science Engineers for cloud deployment.
• 🗣️ Clearly and confidently present findings and proposed solutions to diverse audiences.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently pursuing an advanced degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in a quantitative field with a strong data focus.
• 🧠 Specialization in generative AI & LLMs, embeddings, transformer models, or NLP.
• 🐍 Strong proficiency in Python and relevant tools/libraries.
• ☁️ Familiarity with cloud platforms and related AI/ML services is a plus.
