Product Design Co-op - International Growth

🎯 About the Role

This co-op role focuses on adapting Ancestry's product to resonate with local and cultural needs in international markets. You will partner with the International Product team to spearhead the user experience for priority growth markets.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🗺️ Define UX/UI strategy for priority growth markets.
• 🧪 Lead the design of product experiments and localized offerings.
• 👥 Act as an advocate for international customers, considering cultural nuances.
• 🎨 Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• 🔄 Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality execution.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently pursuing a Master of Design (MDes), MFA, or PhD in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 🌍 Expertise in designing for international audiences and understanding cultural impacts.
• 💡 Strategic, empathetic thinker who analyzes market data and user research.
• 🛠️ Hands-on experience designing for iterative product experiments and A/B testing.
• 💻 Highly proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
