🎯 About the Role
This internship is ideal for those interested in software testing and quality assurance. You will gain hands-on experience testing real-world applications used by schools, parents, and transport operators, learning industry-standard QA practices.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📱 Test Android applications, web dashboards, and upcoming product features
- ✅ Execute manual test cases and verify expected functionality
- 🐛 Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clear descriptions, screenshots, and screen recordings
- 🔄 Verify bug fixes after developers resolve reported issues
- 🔂 Perform regression testing before new releases
- 🚶 Test user flows, forms, navigation, notifications, and overall application usability
- 🐞 Report UI, UX, functional, and performance-related issues
- 🤝 Collaborate with developers and product team members to clarify issues
- 📝 Help prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports
- 🖥️ Ensure applications work consistently across different Android devices and browsers
- 💡 Provide feedback from an end-user perspective to improve usability
- 🗂️ Maintain proper documentation of testing activities and results
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- ❓ Basic understanding of Software Testing or Quality Assurance concepts
- 🧠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 👀 Excellent attention to detail
- 💻 Basic understanding of mobile and web applications
- 📱 Familiarity with Android smartphones and web browsers
- 📝 Good written communication skills for documenting bugs clearly
- 🏡 Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks remotely
- 📚 Willingness to learn testing methodologies and startup product development
- 📈 Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, or bug-tracking tools is a plus but not mandatory
