Event Operations Intern

Contribute to a passionate team by supporting the planning and execution of key tourism and community events.

🎯 About the Role

This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and gain real-world, hands-on experience in event operations within a dynamic and creative environment. You will support the planning and execution of various events throughout the semester.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🤝 Assist in coordinating and providing on-site support for events.
• 📞 Support communication with vendors, artists, performers, and venue contacts.
• 📝 Assist with internal documentation and data tracking.
• 🚚 Provide on-site event assistance, including setup, logistics, and teardown.
• 📊 Assist with compiling post-event reports.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Event Planning, Marketing, Communications, Tourism, or a related field.
• 🚗 Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
• 💪 Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• 🧠 Capacity to multi-task and adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment.
• 🗣️ Strong oral and written communication skills.
• ⚖️ Flexibility and ability to work in an ever-changing and dynamic environment.

💰 Compensation: $10.00/Hour

⏳ Duration: Fall 2026 Semester (Option to extend)
