🎯 About the Role
This internship provides practical work experience in nuclear engineering for college students. You will work on design change packages, engineering calculations, fuel cycle design evaluations, and investigate operational issues.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🔧 Develop elements of design change packages with supervisory oversight
- 🧮 Perform engineering calculations within established standards
- 📊 Evaluate fuel cycle design
- 💡 Investigate corrective actions for operating problems
- 📈 Perform calculations on plant capability and efficiency improvement
- ⚙️ Test instrumentation/equipment malfunction and evaluate plant equipment responses
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Nuclear Engineering from a 4-year accredited University/College
- ⭐ GPA of 2.8 or above
- 💻 Computer skills: familiar with various databases, Windows environment, and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
