This position involves operating a band saw to cut metal stock to specified dimensions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material preparation. You will be responsible for maintaining clean work areas and accurate record-keeping.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📏 Set up and operate a band saw to cut metal stock to dimensions.
- ✂️ Read drawing cut sheets for material specifications.
- 📦 Transfer stock to the machine and record material cuts & scrap.
- 📐 Measure work accurately for conformance to specifications.
- 🏷️ Mark identifying data on workpiece.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- ⭐ 1+ years of industrial experience preferred.
- 🚚 Must be able to operate an industrial powered fork truck.
- 🛠️ Must be able to work with various hand tools.
