Drive plant performance objectives by executing continuous improvement projects focused on metal fabrication and assembly processes.
🎯 About the Role
This Co-Op position allows you to contribute to plant performance by improving safety, quality, and productivity through hands-on project execution. You will be mentored by a manufacturing engineer specializing in metal fabrication and assembly.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🔧 Design, build, and validate fixtures and tooling for production.
- 📏 Verify and update plant layout drawings.
- 🛒 Research, order, and implement tools and plant equipment.
- 📄 Create or revise process documentation, including work instructions.
- 💡 Utilize a hands-on approach to complete projects improving safety, quality, and productivity.
- 🛠️ Troubleshoot processes and equipment issues.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Major study in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related 4-year engineering/technical program.
- 📈 Applicable work experience preferred.
