🎯 About the Role

This Co-Op role involves working directly with the Supply Chain department, as well as Engineering and Manufacturing, to improve communication skills and critical thinking in a professional atmosphere. You will process MRO orders, work with software systems, and contribute to projects and reporting.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🛒 Process purchases of select MRO orders.
• 💻 Work with various software and E-commerce systems.
• 📊 Work on projects and produce reports to assist buyers.
• 🧮 Analyze, prepare, and negotiate quote packages.
• 🗑️ Assist with the liquidation of obsolete raw material and parts inventory.
• 🤝 Communicate effectively with vendors, buyers, and stakeholders.
• 🔍 Troubleshoot vendor or order issues.
• 💰 Apply Total Cost of Ownership metrics in evaluating purchasing decisions.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Major study in Business (preferably with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management or Operations), Engineering Management, or Applied Engineering Sciences.
• 🌟 Enthusiastic and self-motivated sophomore, junior, or senior.
• 📊 Minimum 2.8 GPA.
• 💻 Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• 🗣️ Excellent judgment and communication skills.
• 📈 Knowledge of purchasing processes preferred.
