๐ŸŽฏ About the Role

As a Materials Engineering Intern, you will support the evaluation of materials, components, and manufacturing processes used in engines. This role involves laboratory testing, failure analysis, inspection, and technical documentation while collaborating with experienced engineers and technicians.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Key Responsibilities

  • ๐Ÿ”ฌ Operate laboratory equipment for experimental analysis.
  • ๐Ÿงช Prepare and process test samples using standard laboratory equipment.
  • ๐Ÿ“ Prepare accurate written documentation and concise reports of test results.

โœ… Requirements & Skills

  • ๐ŸŽ“ Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Availability to work full-time from May through August 2027.
  • ๐Ÿ“š Minimum second-semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
  • ๐Ÿงฐ Completion of two semesters of classroom laboratory experience in the major.
  • ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain organized records.
  • ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Hands-on willingness to process test samples.
  • ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Efficient and effective technical communication skills.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Compensation: $18.00-27.50 per hour
