🎯 About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Engineering Co-op, you will work with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement professionals to ensure product quality. You will manage supplier relationships and learn to apply quality tools and techniques.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🤝 Communicate with suppliers regarding Mercury PPAP requirements.
- ⭐ Evaluate supplier performance through audits and corrective plans.
- 📉 Mitigate risk through analysis of manufacturing processes.
- 🚗 Collaborate on new product development and supplier technical requirements.
- 📈 Drive continuous improvements using quality tools and techniques.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently enrolled in a B.S. program for Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 📚 Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
- 🗓️ Availability to work full time January-August 2026 or June-December 2026.
- 🎓 Ability to enroll in a formalized co-op program through your college.
- 🇺🇸 Permanent US Work Authorization required.
💰 Compensation: $19.00 - $27.50 per hour
