🎯 About the Role

Humora Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Cyber Security Intern for a training-first remote internship. This program emphasizes building core security knowledge through structured learning, practical application in controlled environments, and consistent feedback.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🔒 Learn and apply security fundamentals across web application security, network basics, and secure configuration.
• 🔒 Assist in vulnerability assessment, basic security testing, and remediation follow-ups.
• 🔒 Help maintain security documentation, checklists, standard operating procedures, and reports.
• 🔒 Help monitor security events and perform basic log review and analysis.
• 🔒 Build a working understanding of application deployment and hosting environments.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🔑 Understanding of core security concepts: CIA triad, authentication vs. authorization, common attack types.
• 🔑 Familiarity with common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• 🔑 Comfortable working on Linux and the command line.
• 🔑 Ability to explain findings and learnings in clear, simple writing.
• 🔑 Comfortable working independently in a remote setup and asking questions.
• 🔑 Basic familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• 💡 CTF participation or a public writeup portfolio is a plus.
• 💡 Basic scripting in Python or Bash is a plus.
