This role involves assessing patients, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, and providing direct patient care across various age groups. You will collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and act as a preceptor for staff and students.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📝 Create and update individualized nursing care plans
- ✅ Execute care plans, prioritize patient needs, and document accurately
- 🏥 Assess patient responses and revise care plans as necessary
- 📚 Evaluate learning needs and provide patient education
- 🔒 Maintain clear, confidential communication and report unsafe practices
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🏥 BSN preferred; RN license in the applicable state or a compact license
- 👩⚕️ Six months to one year of RN or graduate nurse permit experience
- ❤️ Current BLS certification
- 🤝 Ability to perform procedures and collaborate effectively
- 💡 Demonstrate leadership when acting as charge nurse
