This role involves assessing patients, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, and providing direct patient care across various age groups. You will collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and act as a preceptor for staff and students.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Create and update individualized nursing care plans
- β Execute care plans, prioritize patient needs, and document accurately
- π₯ Assess patient responses and revise care plans as necessary
- π Evaluate learning needs and provide patient education
- π Maintain clear, confidential communication and report unsafe practices
β Requirements & Skills
- π₯ BSN preferred; RN license in the applicable state or a compact license
- π©ββοΈ Six months to one year of RN or graduate nurse permit experience
- β€οΈ Current BLS certification
- π€ Ability to perform procedures and collaborate effectively
- π‘ Demonstrate leadership when acting as charge nurse
