🎯 About the Role

This part-time, unpaid internship focuses on driving business development and forging strategic partnerships for a platform that fosters authentic real-world connections. You will gain practical experience in sales, outreach, and relationship building within the local business community.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🗺️ Research and curate target lists of local businesses, venues, and event organizers.
• 📧 Draft cold emails, manage direct outreach via social/LinkedIn, and conduct in-person drop-ins.
• 🗣️ Pitch OMI’s value proposition and schedule follow-up meetings for team leaders.
• 🗂️ Track outreach progress, responses, and meeting notes in a shared CRM/tracker.
• 🤝 Participate in weekly strategy syncs to refine tactics and optimize acquisition.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Current Junior, Senior, or Master’s student majoring in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or Entrepreneurship.
• 💪 Comfortable with cold outreach and resilient in the face of rejection.
• 📢 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• 🚀 Self-driven, professional, and takes ownership of research.
• 📍 Passionate about local events, food, culture, and community scenes.
