This hands-on role requires understanding platform-specific best practices and delivering polished videos quickly. You will collaborate in a team environment, taking ownership from ingest to final export.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🎬 Edit raw footage into engaging, platform-optimized videos for social channels.
- 🗣️ Produce talking-head content with strong pacing and audio.
- 🎧 Edit and enhance podcast episodes, including multi-cam setups and captions.
- ✨ Stay current with short-form video trends and editing styles.
- 📝 Add captions and subtitles optimized for silent viewing.
- 🗄️ Manage project files, organize footage libraries, and maintain version control.
- 🤝 Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and designers.
- 🔄 Turn around revisions quickly and incorporate feedback efficiently.
- ⏱️ Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high production quality.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 💼 2+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio/reel.
- 💻 Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- 📈 Deep understanding of social media video trends, formats, and best practices.
- 🌟 Strong storytelling instincts with excellent pacing and attention to detail.
- 🎨 Solid skills in color correction, audio post-production, and captioning.
- 🎛️ Experience working with multi-cam footage and synchronizing audio/video.
- 🗄️ Highly organized with strong file management habits.
- 🧑💻 Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- 💻 Must have your own high-performance PC/laptop capable of 4K editing.
