🎯 About the Role

This Audit Internship provides hands-on experience working with the Assurance team, participating in various audit engagements. You will develop skills in identifying financial reporting discrepancies, trends, and risks, while gaining exposure to public accounting practices.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📊 Assist in the execution of audit procedures for a variety of clients and industries.
• 📈 Perform substantive testing of account balances and transactions.
• 📁 Support the preparation of workpapers and audit documentation.
• 📄 Assist in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• 💬 Participate in team meetings and client communications.
• ✈️ Travel to client sites as needed for fieldwork and relationship-building.
• 💻 Gain exposure to various accounting systems and internal control environments.
• 🤝 Collaborate with staff and senior accountants to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📚 Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting.
• 📈 Progress towards CPA eligibility.
• 🧠 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• ⏳ Availability to work up to 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime.
• 🌱 Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
