This internship provides hands-on experience supporting Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting and reimbursement compliance work. You'll learn to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios within a fast-paced professional setting alongside the Healthcare Reimbursement & Cost Reporting team.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📝 Assist in the preparation of Medicare & Medicaid cost reports and reimbursement compliance schedules.
• 📊 Organize and analyze financial and statistical data received from healthcare clients.
• 🔍 Conduct basic research on healthcare reimbursement regulations and guidance.
• 🤝 Communicate with team members to resolve open items and gather additional documentation.
• 📁 Prepare supporting workpapers in accordance with firm standards.
• 💻 Utilize cost reporting software and internal systems.
• 📅 Support the team in meeting important filing deadlines and client deliverables.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📚 Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 📈 Progress towards CPA eligibility a plus, but not required.
• 🗂️ Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• ⏳ Availability to work up to 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime.
• 🌱 Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

💰 Compensation: $28/hour
