Production Head

Drive plant production and manage resources efficiently as a Production Head in a chemical/petrochemical/polymer manufacturing environment. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and ensuring workplace safety and compliance.

This senior role is responsible for achieving plant objectives by optimizing production processes, managing materials and workforce, and adhering to quality, cost, and safety standards. You will contribute to the plant's short and long-term strategy, oversee daily operations, and ensure efficient resource utilization.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📈 Provide inputs for plant strategy and develop production department plans.
• 📊 Review and prepare monthly/weekly production plans based on resources and current scenarios.
• 📉 Lead efforts to achieve production excellence, reducing quality issues and wastage.
• 🛒 Manage material coordination and purchase of necessary chemicals and consumables.
• 🔧 Review preventive maintenance and provide feedback to the maintenance team.
• 📊 Analyze production-related MIS reports and take corrective actions.
• 🔒 Lead shutdown planning and ensure adherence to operational discipline and HSEF procedures.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology (Chemical/Petrochemical/Polymer) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
• 💡 5-9 years of experience in a relevant plant environment; Diploma holders require 15-18 years.
• 👨‍💼 Must have team management experience.
• 🧩 Problem solving and analytical ability.
• 👥 People management skills.
