Production Officer

🎯 About the Role

This role is pivotal in driving and monitoring the production process to meet quality and production targets within the committed schedule. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and maintain quality norms.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ⚙️ Plan & manage shift wise production activities and monitor as per planning.
• 🛒 Ensure timely availability of raw materials and get them verified by QA.
• 📊 Monitor the consumption of raw materials and utilities per shift.
• 🚨 Conduct regular plant rounds to monitor and troubleshoot process parameters and equipment.
• 👥 Plan manpower allocation and drive interdepartmental communication.
• 📝 Prepare plant shift reports and ensure batch sheets are properly filled.
• ⚠️ Highlight exceptions in parameters and implement suggestions to minimize deviations.
• 📈 Maintain specifications with respect to plant operating parameters and report deviations.
• ✅ Follow all production-related safety, fire, and environmental processes and compliance norms.
• ⛑️ Ensure all shift crew follows safety procedures and report deviations.
• 🩹 Liaison with the Maintenance team for uninterrupted operations.
• 📊 Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and participate in audits.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology (Chemical)
• ⭐ 5 to 9 years of relevant experience
• 💡 Knowledge of plant unit operation and processes
• 🖥️ Understanding of plant control system (DCS / PLC)
• ⛑️ Understanding of emergency system (ERCP, PIP, F&G system)
• 📊 Knowledge of system tools like OMPRO, SAP, Production Accounting System (PAS), etc.
• 🔥 Understanding of Fire, Safety and Environmental procedures
