🎯 About the Role

This trainee program provides paid, on-the-job training to become a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and tools in a safety-focused environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🚚 Move heavy-duty vehicles into and out of service areas and the yard.
• ⛽ Fuel vehicles and accurately record fuel activity and inventory.
• 🔧 Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units, checking key components.
• 🧹 Maintain fuel island cleanliness and perform minor facility maintenance as assigned.
• 📚 Complete all requirements of the Technician Training Development Program.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ⚙️ Zero to one year of mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• 🔞 Must be at least 18 years old.
• 🗣️ Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
• 🤝 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 💻 Competency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• 📜 Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire and pass a DOT physical.
