This co-op position provides a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced scientists in synthetic organic and nucleic acid chemistry. You will support the development of innovative therapeutic modalities and gain valuable experience in a pharmaceutical setting.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🧪 Perform synthesis, purification, and characterization of oligonucleotides and small molecules.
• ⚙️ Operate and maintain oligonucleotide synthesizers and related instrumentation.
• 📊 Conduct LCMS analysis to assess purity and identity of materials.
• 📝 Accurately record experimental data and maintain laboratory notebooks.
• 💡 Analyze experimental results and troubleshoot issues with senior scientists.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 🇺🇸 Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• 💻 Solid foundational knowledge of organic chemistry and/or biochemistry principles.
• 📈 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 🔬 Prior laboratory experience in synthetic organic chemistry or nucleic acid chemistry is preferred.

💰 Compensation: $27.00-$47.00 hourly
