Product Management, Event Technology & Digital Platforms Intern

This is a global, strategic paid internship within SAP’s Digital Platforms team, offering university students the opportunity to find purpose in their careers.

🎯 About the Role

As a Product Management Intern, you will be at the forefront of planning, delivering, and measuring enterprise events at scale. You will support the 'Build & Run' operations for SAP's self-service event platform and T1 event digital experiences, from registration to post-event analytics, mastering the intersection of Event Technology, SAFe Agile delivery, and AI-driven audience engagement.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ⚙️ Support day-to-day run operations of SAP's self-service event platform.
• 📝 Translate event stakeholder needs into clear product requirements.
• 📈 Utilize event analytics to track platform performance and attendee engagement.
• 🤖 Assist in the deployment and monitoring of AI-driven features for personalization.
• 🗓️ Actively participate in SAFe ceremonies and manage the Team Backlog.
• 🔒 Assist in audits to ensure AI features adhere to SAP's Responsible AI standards.
• 🚀 Support the rollout of industry-leading event technology integrations.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently enrolled, or recently graduated (within 6 months of start date) from an eligible program (coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD).
• 📚 Pursuing a degree in Marketing Technology, Business, Computer Science, Digital Transformation, or a related field.
• 🤔 A curious and agile mindset, with a passion for learning and resilience.
• 💡 Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills.
• 🤝 Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum or SAFe 6.0 methodologies.
• 💻 Familiarity with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, ON24, Hopin) or enterprise-grade CMS and marketing automation platforms.
• ☁️ Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, AEM, Analytics) or comparable enterprise MarTech stack is a plus.
• 🗄️ Proficiency in Jira/Confluence for workflow and backlog management; Figma for reviewing UX/prototype designs.
• 🗣️ Ability to translate event business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• 📱 Digital-first mindset and a genuine curiosity for how technology shapes event experiences.
• 🗓️ Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple deliverables under event deadlines.
• 📊 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with basic knowledge of design and web production tools.

💰 Compensation: $26.00 - $47.00 USD (annualized combined)

⏳ Duration: 6 months, Full-time – 40 hours per week
