Join Sembcorp Specialised Construction as a Quantity Surveying Intern. You will assist the QS team in preparing cost estimates, managing contracts, and monitoring project budgets to ensure financial success.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 💲 Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
• 📑 Support QS team in contract administration, procurement, and progress claims assessment.
• 📏 Conduct site measurements and assist in evaluating variations and cost control measures.
• 📊 Work with costing and estimation software to analyze project budgets.
• 📋 Assist in reviewing project specifications, contracts, and construction drawings.
• 📈 Conduct market research on material costs and supplier pricing.
• 💰 Support project teams in monitoring budgets and financial performance.
• 📝 Prepare reports and documentation to track project costs and financial risks.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📊 Background in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 📑 Basic understanding of cost estimation, contract management, and procurement processes.
• 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, or other quantity surveying software is an advantage.
• 🔢 Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• 🗣️ Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• 📚 Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements
