Team Lead – Community

This leadership role is designed for someone to be the operational heartbeat of a community function, managing a team and a cohort of interns to ensure community strategies are effectively executed. You will drive alignment and engagement within campus communities.

This position focuses on building systems and ensuring deeply engaged, active, and healthy campus communities. It requires someone who can build and lead, rather than just manage, and can maintain stability as the organization grows outward.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🎯 Define and drive quarterly OKRs for the Community function, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• 📈 Develop and refine community growth frameworks, including campus activation strategies and engagement benchmarks.
• 💡 Identify and implement scalable engagement models and operational improvements.
• 📊 Establish a structured weekly review system to monitor key metrics.
• 👥 Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of team members, setting performance expectations.
• mentoring the community intern program, including project allocation and performance tracking.
• ✅ Act as the escalation point for operational challenges within the community function.
• 🤝 Define clear engagement standards and develop student leaders within communities.
• 🚀 Drive campus-level activation and student engagement, building a deep and lasting presence.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• ⚙️ 1–4 years of experience in community building, campus outreach, team leading, or operations.
• ✔️ Proven track record of managing teams and holding them to clear, measurable deliverables.
• 🧠 Deep instinct for what motivates students and understanding of campus culture.
• 📊 Data-fluent, comfortable building trackers, reading dashboards, and making decisions based on metrics.
• 💬 Excellent communicator, capable of running team syncs or presenting outcomes to stakeholders.
• 🚀 Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities.
• ✈️ Willing and able to travel frequently across territories for campus visits and events.
• 🤝 Preference for candidates with prior experience working with college management teams or handling college partnerships.
