Performance Management Intern - REACH

Support UNICEF's global programme division by strengthening performance management for a key technical assistance platform, gaining experience in data analytics and process improvement.

🎯 About the Role

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the center of UNICEF's global programme support architecture, contributing to a corporate platform that connects technical expertise with programme implementation. You will support the development of workflows, data analysis, dashboarding, and performance reporting.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ⚙️ Support the development and documentation of workflows and business processes.
• 📊 Compile, clean, validate, and maintain performance data.
• 📈 Develop and update dashboards, scorecards, and visual performance products.
• 📝 Support the preparation of analyses, presentations, and management reports.
• 🔍 Monitor data quality, completeness, and timeliness, addressing identified gaps.
• 💡 Assist in identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• 📚 Maintain organized records of methodologies, indicator definitions, and data sources.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📊 Strong working knowledge of Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar is an asset.
• 📝 Ability to organize, analyze, and present quantitative and qualitative information clearly.
• 🧐 Strong attention to detail, planning, and follow-through.
• 🗣️ Good written and verbal communication skills.
• 🤝 Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• 🎓 Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a university degree in data analytics, statistics, economics, information management, public administration, international development, or a related field.
