🎯 About the Role

The Finance Intern will support Valvoline Global Operations’ (VGO) Americas Finance team. This position provides a hands-on learning experience in financial reporting and analysis. The intern will gain exposure to day-to-day financial planning activities that support business decisions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📊 Assist in preparing monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans.
• 📈 Build and update financial models to support revenue, margin, and expense planning.
• 🧐 Analyze budget vs. actual performance and identify key drivers of variances.
• 📦 Support creation of monthly management reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI summaries.
• 🔍 Gather, validate, and synthesize data from multiple business units and systems.
• 💡 Prepare ad-hoc analyses to answer leadership questions quickly and accurately.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 🔒 Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• 🗄️ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 🗣️ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 🤝 A collaborative, professional, and proactive mindset.
