Photography Intern

Gain comprehensive photography experience within the Food & Beverage and Merchandise teams at Walt Disney World Resort.

🎯 About the Role

This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of photography, including art direction, food styling, photo retouching, lighting, and client interaction. You will work with creative partners to deliver high-quality photography for menus, marketing, and social media needs.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📸 Take photos and videos for Food & Beverage LOB for menus, marketing, and social needs
• 🛍️ Capture images for the Merchandise LOB for Guest and Cast-facing tools
• 📢 Supply content for Disney Parks Blog and other social media channels

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📷 Background in photography, including coursework/examples of work showing technical expertise and studio experience
• 📣 Experience covering social media and/or Public Relations
• 📸 Proficiency with professional use of DSLR cameras (Nikon or other professional models)
• 💻 Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Acrobat
• 🚗 Possess a valid US driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle
• 🚶 Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with prolonged standing/walking
• 🏋️ Able to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds
• 💡 Knowledgeable of studio lighting systems (preferred)
• ✨ Able to ideate moodboards for photoshoot planning purposes (preferred)
• 🖥️ Familiarity within a Macintosh environment (preferred)
• 💖 Love for the entertainment and Food & Beverage industries (preferred)
• 🎬 Previous video experience (preferred)
• 🌟 Willing to learn and tackle additional creative projects as needed (preferred)

💰 Compensation: $22.10 per hour
