About Collections That Care

Collections That Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a free resource for undergraduate and graduate students and emerging professionals seeking opportunities in museums and cultural institutions. What began as an expansive Google Doc of paid opportunities in 2022 has evolved into a searchable database of internships, fellowships, grants, residencies and more in disciplines such as fine arts, art history, natural history, archaeology, and conservation. Every opportunity listed in the guide provides compensation in the form of hourly pay, stipends, or room and board. Unpaid or volunteer positions are not posted.
