Electrical Integration Intern - Avionics

Contribute to the design, build, and test of satellite hardware and software as part of an interdisciplinary team at a leading aerospace company.

🎯 About the Role

This twelve-week paid internship offers the chance to work on challenging projects and meaningful hardware/software development that could be heading to space. You'll learn to use specialized test equipment and solve complex integration problems.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🛰️ Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• 📝 Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures.
• 🔬 Learn to use various pieces of test equipment (thermal chambers, vibration tables, etc.).
• 🎛️ Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
• ⚡ Help solve complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 💡 Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• 🤹 Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• 🗣️ Strong communication skills.
• 🏢 Must be onsite 5 days a week.
• 🐍 Experience writing Python code is a bonus.
• 🔧 Direct electrical or software design experience is a bonus.

💰 Compensation: $29.00 per hour

⏳ Duration: Twelve weeks (Winter 2027)
