Software Engineering Intern (Paid)

Develop full-stack engineering skills in an AI-native operating system company with guidance from a Senior Engineer.

🎯 About the Role

This internship focuses on developing full-stack engineering skills with guidance from a Senior Engineer. The internship scope and learning objectives will be discussed during interviews, offering exposure to frontend and backend development, debugging, testing, and AI-assisted development.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 💻 Frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• ⚙️ Backend APIs, relational data models, and application workflows.
• 🐞 Debugging, testing, Git, and code review practices.
• 🤖 Using AI coding tools thoughtfully and checking the correctness of their output.
• 🗣️ Communicating technical questions, progress, and findings in a distributed team.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 💡 A foundation in programming through coursework, personal projects, or equivalent learning.
• 📜 Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript; exposure to React is helpful.
• 🗣️ Strong communication, curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedback.
• 🚀 Interest in full-stack software and AI-assisted development.
• 💬 Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

💰 Compensation: $20–$25 USD per hour

⏳ Duration: Flexible; weekly hours, start date, and duration will be discussed during interviews

📍 Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based)
