This internship offers direct, hands-on experience in deal sourcing, diligence, and portfolio company support. You will work directly with the founder, experiencing live deal economics and engaging with business owners, providing valuable insights for future career opportunities.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🎯 Build and maintain target lists of acquisition candidates.
- 🔍 Research industries and local markets.
- ✉️ Draft outreach to business owners and sit in on calls.
- 📊 Conduct competitive and market research for portfolio companies.
- 🧑💼 Source and screen candidates for portfolio company roles.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 📚 Sophomore or junior interested in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
- 💡 Genuine curiosity about how small businesses work.
- ✍️ Comfortable writing clearly.
- 📞 Willing to pick up the phone and engage in outreach.
- 🧠 Ability to research unfamiliar topics and form a point of view.
