Interns will cultivate relationships with truckload carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure seamless freight movement.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📞 Make daily cold calls to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments.
- ⚖️ Negotiate rates with carriers and book loads.
- 🤝 Focus on building new relationships and developing your own carrier portfolio.
- 📈 Provide excellent service to partner carriers and internal stakeholders, exceeding metrics.
- 🔧 Resolve service failures in a dynamic industry.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Current students with an expected graduation date by August 2028.
- 🌟 Gritty, highly motivated self-starter with a relentless drive to succeed.
- 🗣️ Outstanding communicator, strong negotiator, and ability to connect with people.
