🎯 About the Role
This 12-week paid internship immerses you in EQT’s West Virginia & Ohio Land Acquisition team. You will work alongside professionals responsible for clearing wells for drilling, managing energy land, and serving as the public face of the company to mineral owners and stakeholders.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ✍️ Draft and negotiate new oil and gas leases and related agreements.
- 🧐 Review lease obligations for current and future wells.
- 🤝 Collaborate with various EQT departments to clear wells for drilling.
- 💡 Contribute new ideas and fresh perspectives to daily development challenges.
- 🧑💼 Engage with mineral owners and stakeholders in operating communities.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Pursuing a degree in Energy Land Management, Petroleum Land Management, Business Administration, or a Juris Doctorate (with an energy law concentration).
- 🛢️ Experience in Oil and Gas, Energy, or a related field requiring project management and attention to detail.
- 📈 Knowledge of Energy Land Management, Petroleum Land Management, Project Management, or Energy Law.
